Liquid Earth – 3D Visualisation Platform

LiquidEarth is a cloud-based software solution empowering experts to visualise, edit and communicate geological data and models in intuitive 3D while facilitating real-time collaboration across multiple devices, independent of location.

LiquidEarth is tailored to the mineral exploration and mining sector, aiming to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and decision-making in workflows related to Critical Raw Materials (CRMs). Keyfeatures include multi-device compatibility across desktop, tablet, smartphone, and mixed-reality(XR) platforms, enabling users to select the device best suited for their needs. Real-timecollaboration enables remote teams to meet online in 3D spaces to discuss observations and toeasily share data, annotations, and interpretations across any distance. These capabilitiesenhance not only technical operations but also communication and outreach efforts related tolarge-scale and complex subsurface projects

Case studies involving geoscience datasets developed during the VECTOR project have beenprepared and implemented in the LiquidEarth app. These projects demonstrate LiquidEarth’scapabilities for advanced visualisation, interactive presentation, and effective communication ofproject results. Each model is accessible via a link and QR code, allowing guest access to theproject in LiquidEarth, and will remain available beyond the conclusion of the VECTOR project.Furthermore, the models will continue to be updated as new results from project partnersbecome available, ensuring their relevance and utility for ongoing research and applications.
